Happy Birthday Mommy and Grammy!

Callie says:

What are the odds? My mommy turns the young age of 30 on the very same day that my Grammy turns the extra young age of 50!

Happy Birthday to both of you! I was so excited that I woke up promptly at 6 this morning to begon celebrating, and figured you'd appreciate a picture of Hawaii since I didn't save enough pennies to TAKE us there. Also, Cohen is a bit more experienced at these things so he slept in and sent this pre-recorded video.

Hope you both have the bestest birthdays ever!

Xoxoxo!

My Brother and the Sprinkler

Callie says:

Just a quick picture I took of Cohen playing in the sprinkler this afternoon.  I know there has been more pictures of him than me lately, but I just had to put this one out here since the crazy kid thinks that as soon as we hit 68 degrees, he needs to play in some water!

We'll have some pictures of the CUTER sibling soon.  Just kidding Cohen!....mostly...

I give it Four Buzzes!

Cohen says:
As promised, a review of Toy Story 3.
Venue: Imax in 3D at Thornton Place 14 at Northgate.
Time: Friday at 7:30 on opening weekend.
Candy: Twizzlers, Skittles, and some popcorn (I know, not actually candy)

Quiz: 3D movie or 80's party?

Now, I have to preface this review by saying that I've seen Toy Story (1995) and Toy Story 2 (2001) a combined 150 to 1200 times.

Mom - that was AWESOME!

On second thought, I probably shouldn't give anything from the movie away so I will just say this: it was EPIC and did a great job of tying together a lot of loose ends (unlike the LOST series finale a few weeks ago). It was funny, it was touching, and as always, Buzz Lightyear was awesome!

Doesn't everyone take action figures to the movies?

For those that are wondering, yes I did have to wear those silly 3D glasses and I did keep them on most of the time. Also, I apparently was very well behaved for my first movie as a two year old, probably because I got to take buzz and woody with me.

I definitely recommend seeing this movie on the big TV screen that adults call the movie theatre.

Even Buzz Lightyear has to brush before bed!

Callie says:

Cohen tries to get me in trouble a lot so I just wanted to put proof out there that I help with the dishes and stuff. Also, I'm getting soo big!

I see aminals. I see giraffe. I see erephant.

Cohen says:

Here's a few quick pics from our trip to the zoo this weekend. Enjoy!

Also, daddy finally found the REAL camera so we should get back to some better quality pictures at a more standard pace. We will see though.

Cahs and Tucks

Cohen, Callie, and Mommy with a real-life Tow Mater!
Callie says:

If you read this blog regularly, you know the story, but here's the quick recap. My brother Cohen and I were so caught up in having fun this summer that we neglected this blog greatly. SOOO, we have started a little series called "Belated Blogging", where will recap specific events that took place this summer. Get it? Good.

Cohen thinks he is actually driving - silly brubber!

Git-r-done!

What special day was Sunday June 7th? FATHER'S DAY! As has been our recent Father's day tradition (from what I hear), we spent a portion of our day at the Hot Rods and Hogs car show that Grandpa hosts. Personally, I slept through much of the event (hence there aren't many pictures of me), but from what I do remember and from what I see in the pictues, it was tons of fun. Most notably, Mater from Disney's Cars was there!

Frankly, I can't wait til next year when I'm old enough to enter my pink Power Wheels Escalade. There's gotta be a trophy for that, right grandpa?

Coco and Auntie Maeggie being silly.

Looking at cars is exhausting!

What a good-lookin family!

Ahem!! Where are your helmets?!

Cohen's attention span is kind of short...

Weeeeeeeee!
