Easter Weekend Part III: The Bunny

Cohen says:

Part 3 of this 4 part expose on Easter Weekend 2011 is brief. A few days before Easter morning, we went to see the Easter Bunny and tell him what we wanted. That's what you're supposed to do right? I must say that I was extra excited to see the bunny this year, and actually, this year's picture turned out a little bit opposite of last year's picture. Callie ended up a little bit afraid this year, but I made sure to point out to her (and everyone else that would listen over the next 3 days) that the Easter bunny is furry, doesn't talk, and wears glasses.

Everybody loves big magic bunnies, right?

Easter Weekend Part II: Eggs and Parades

Getting her game face on

I could pick up eggs while jumping rope...

Cohen says:

Saturday was part II of Easter weekend, and was also the nicest, and maybe busiest day we've had so far this year. We started early with an Easter Egg hunt with Grandpa, Grandma and Auntie Maeggie, and then we went with Grandpa to a parade where we also got to see Auntie Angie and Brooklynn. The rest of the day was spent playing in Grandpa's backyard, getting a little sun, and getting a lot dirty!

We were exhausted by the time we got in the car to drive home, but that was good since the Easter Bunny was set to come that night!

So here's the plan..

Easter Weekend Part I: Tulips!

Just a dad, two kids, and some flowers

Callie says:

Happy Easter everyone! Just winding down for bed here after one of the busier weekends of the year so far. The weather was nice, we had a lot of (well photographed) fun, and we'll blog about it in a three part series.

On Friday afternoon/evening, we decided to get out of the house and check out the nearby tulip fields in Mount Vernon. The crowds are usually huge, so going on a Friday was smart. The flowers were pretty, and I think I've just about convinced daddy to tear out the grass in the back yard and make one big tulip field of our own.

STOP! I wanna smell the flowers!

Really? Pictures here too?

One of many attempts at a good picture..

One of these flowers is different (the one w/ pigtails)

Stop Flowers! Be nice to my sister!

Balance Beams and Cows ARE a Good Mix

Cohen: Our own personal Clydsedale

Callie says:

As is the case more often than not these days, this entry is mostly just some fun pictures. Since it's been a bit nice the last few days, we have been able to get back outside for our nightly walk/wagon ride/bike ride/scooter ride/shoulder ride/skateboard ride/rollerskate ride, which generally involves a trip to the park. Enjoy the pics!

Goes straight for the slide!

Can we go up the slide? YES WE CAN!

Staring contest....with...

duh... a cow! what else?

COW! GET OVER HERE!

Please excuse my bossy sister, Mr. Cow.
