Door to Door Candy Requests

Tinkerbell and Peter Pan

Cohen says:

You've been waiting for it and here it is: the finale of our Halloweenapalooza. On Monday night, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell with two goals: to rid Neverland of the evil Captain Hook, and to get as much candy as possible!

In order to get as much trick-or-treating in as possible, we first headed to downton Mount Vernon to trick or treat amongst the local businesses. I wasn't quite sure what to make of the non-traditional setting at first, but I have to say it was fun, and we definitely scored.

On a candy mission

There's a giant bumble bee chasing us!

Thank you!

After a quick pizza break at home, the trick-or-treaters started showing up at our door, which meant it was time for us to hit the neighborhood. Since Grammy came up to play with us, some combination of mommy/daddy/grammy trick-or-treated with us, while the odd one out stayed back at the house to answer to the masses.

We actually didn't trick-or-treat too many houses, but I definitely enjoyed answering the door for each of the 260 or so adolescents that knocked on our door. If only I could get them to bring us the candy, rather than having to go door to door for it, we'd be in business!
