Disneyland 2011: Part I

Visiting Minnie's House

Callie says:

Hi everybody! If you have been within 3 miles of Cohen anytime in the last 3 months, than you definitely already knew that we temporarily moved the White Family residence to Anaheim, California for the last week. While Cohen had been to Disneyland once before, he was only 7 months old at the time, so this felt like the first time for both of us.

We spent a full week there, and shared the first half of the week with Auntie She-She and Uncle Brian, Grammy, G-G and Grandpa Jerry, which made it extra fun. As per the usual, Daddy took way too many pictures, so this will be a multi-part update with an abundance of visual delights. If you like pictures of Cohen and I doing anything under the sun, you're in luck. If you don't, well, why are you here?

Been on the look-out in coming days for more pictures, featuring lots of characters, etc. For now, some pictures of the first day or so. Enjoy!

Cohen's First Day of Preschool

Traditional front porch shot

Cohen says:

It is said that there are quite a few milestone moments in life such as a first tooth, first steps taken, or even first Playstation 3 (hint hint Mom and DAD!), and I'm pretty sure that I hit another one this week. On Thursday, I started my formal education by way of Preschool at Burlington Little School, and from what I can tell, Mom and Dad (or Kor-eee, as I've taken to calling him lately) are quite proud.

Goofy shot

For those concerned with details, I currently am a part-time enrollee, attending on Thursday and Friday mornings. Not that anyone actually asked me, but I think it's the perfect amount of time to refine my skills while also getting good time at home with Mommy.

My teacher's name is Miss Julie, although I tricked daddy pretty good the other day by first trying to convince him that her name was Diane (completely random) and later "Mississippi". The latter one might seem random as well, but he kept saying "your teacher's name is Misses ___", so I added a "p.p." in reference to the fact that I am 72.72% of the way to correctly spelling M-i-s-s-i-s-s-i-p-p-i aloud. I love tricking people!

Homework already?!

Season Premier: Coming Soon

Cohen says:

So, ummm, has it really been almost 3 full months since an update? I guess it has. Rest assured that as the summer winds down, we'll get back to updating regularly soon. We have lots of good pictures to share from the summer, and most recently of Callie's 2nd Birthday.

Check back soon!
