Just trying to put on some bunny ears...
Best buddies!
Did ya hear the one about the duck that crossed the road?
Cohen says:
Daddy's princess trying on her dress
Hold my basket - I need some candy!
I got my jacket on - let's go see that BUNNY!
Why do bunny's need spectacles?
Earlier this week, Callie posted a picture of us with the Furry Hopping Rabbit Bunny, which was the unofficial kick-off to our Easter Weekend Activities. I've gotten a little grief from some of you about the fact that it LOOKS like I'm crying in the picture, but let me assure you, that's just a combination of bad photography, and the fact that I had something in my eye. We've all been there right? Definitely no crying though..
Mmmm.....chocolate bunny....
The scene after the Easter Bunny left our house
Do these ears make me look silly?
Cohen scavenging for Chocolate...surprised?
On Saturday morning, we got up kinda early, but on some mud-worthy clothes, and headed to a local park for an Easter Egg hunt, thinking that we could meet Emma and Eden there and it would be fun. While I did have fun, it was unfortunately short lived as the hoards of greedy, egg gathering children ended the hunt in 45 seconds while an accident on the Freeway kept Emma and Eden from getting there on time. It turned out to be ok though, cause we went back to our house and got to play ALL-DAY!
A new favorite for Cohen - PUZZLES!
Oh daddy - you're so funny!
Callie and I were both pleasantly surprised with our findings. Not only was the house impeccably clean, but we had tons of chocolate, games, toys, and other presents, all neatly piled into convieniant baskets for our carrying pleasure. Of all the goods we got, I think my new CARS puzzle is probably my favorite so far, while I think Callie is partial to her Princess Pin Wheel.
Chocolate Milk!
HEEEEEYYYYY!!!!
Priorities - toys and candy
After eating enough chocolate to knock down a horse, mommy made us some yummy bunny pancakes before we packed up the Circus that we call our life and headed south to see some family in honor of the holiday. Anytime you can string together two holiday meals in a matter of hours, you know you're doing good, and that's exactly what we did. First to Grandma and Grandpa's, and then to Chelsie's house (or Aunt Pam's and Uncle Jeff's, as most people would call it). Between playing with Molly and my Auntie's at Grandpa's house, and then playing with Chelsie at, well, Chelsie's house, I was EXHAUSTED. Great Easter once again!
