Cohen likes Santa, Callie likes the Candy Cane
Cohen says:
Happy Christmakah! We've hit the month of December, which means that the countdown to the big day is on! While our family has developed quite a few holiday traditions in our few years of existence, maybe my favorite is our trip to see Santa to give him our Christmas Lists and give the parents a photo opportunity.
For those that aren't in the know, our Santa tradition is to park the family wagon at the Seattle Center, check out the Space Needle a bit, and then catch Santa's train to his workshop (read: The Monorail to the Nordstrom Flagship store at Westlake).
Dressed up? No, we always match like this..
I think those letters say: "Santa's Train"
All aboard!
Keep up Callie!
Mom, can you pull her along any faster?
A big hug for Cohen - Callie was hugging a Candy Cane
A Candy Cane Hug
Our trip to see Santa this year was great. The line was short, and I found him to be much less scary this year for some reason. Unfortunately, Callie was a bit timid so a lot of the focus was on getting her to forget that she was sitting on Santa's lap. Personally, I don't get it. He smells like peppermint, brings you toys that you ask for, and stars in a wide range of movies/tv specials/musical hits this time of year. We tried to post a video of the visit, but had some trouble, so maybe soon!
This horse is very statue-like
Seriously mom? The boys are watching!
Gotta catch the return train - see ya soon!
